What is it?
buytrx.org is a small dapp on Tron that helps to get TRX for USDT TRC-20, even if the user doesn’t have any TRX in their wallet right now.
TRX is currently mandatory to send USDT on Tron from wallets like Trust Wallet and Tron Link and it is hard to get TRX, especially for new users.
As of 16.01.2025 there are 30 purchases being made on the website every day and the number is slowly climbing up.
Why create it?
The market limit for buytrx.org is 10-100k daily users. Which equals to $10-100k monthly revenue at the very best. These are very small numbers, so why work on this project at all? Why not work on something bigger like a revolutionary cypto wallet that could be used by billions of people?
I have never created a project that would have actual users and would be generating actual revenue. Having created and grown at least some project, especially given that it only took 1 month of my full time attention, is 100% better than trying to go from zero to billion and never succeeding.
My goal with buytrx.org
My end goal for working on buytrx.org is not to attract users or earn money (though these are crucial parts of the end goal). The end goal is to learn distribution.
For the past five years of my life I have been constantly trying to make tech products. First web2, then web3. I have made a gazillion MVPs, however, none got actual usage. AND! They got no usage not because people found my products useless, but because I simply did no distribution AT ALL.
This is why I created buytrx.org - to try out various things and see how to distribute a product and make people use it and love it. And so far I have tried many things and I have learned A TON! In the end, I wouldn’t be writing this article if not the mind shift that has happend to me during the past month thanks to buytrx.org. My life has irreversibly changed forever.
